Connection Solution

In this diagram 4 database clients share 2 connections. There is only 1 connection between BCS and DCS with 2 virtual connections, A and B.

• Built-in mechanism in BCS and DCS detects and retransmits corrupt packets automatically.
  "Reliable" TCP does not always detect corrupt packets because it only has 16-bit checksum field. A undetected corrupt packet is a disaster for your application.
• BCS automatically reconnects to DCS if the existing connection is disconnected, all packets not received by the peer (BCS or DCS) will be retransmitted automatically. Your application is not affected by the disconnection events and the users will never notice the disconnection events.
• Connection Sharing reduces time to establish new connections.
  DB-WAN-Accel shares all suitable connections from all the database clients even the connections are from different computers.
• Combining small packets reduces TCP overhead.
• Built-in congestion avoidance for "long fat pipe".
